This Privacy Policy describes how Beamup ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and image enhancement service at https://trybeamup.app.
What we do
Beamup helps online sellers improve lighting in their listing photos. You upload an image, we process it through our enhancement pipeline, and you download the result. We design the product so your image files are not kept after processing.
Information we collect
- Account information — email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via Google OAuth).
- Billing information — subscription and payment status via our billing provider (Autumn and Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage metadata — timestamps and success/failure status of enhancement runs for billing and abuse prevention. We do not store your image content in our database.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timing) for security and reliability.
How we process images
When you request an enhancement, your image is briefly staged in encrypted object storage (Cloudflare R2), processed by our image enhancement provider (fal.ai), and then deleted from our staging storage. Enhanced output is returned to your browser; we do not retain copies on our infrastructure after the request completes.
Third-party processors involved in enhancement may temporarily handle image data according to their own policies and our configuration (including short-lived processing and limited retention settings where available).
How we use information
- Provide and operate the service, including authentication and billing.
- Enforce trial and subscription access.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
- Improve reliability and fix errors (using aggregated or technical data).
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run Beamup, such as:
- Convex (application backend and auth infrastructure)
- Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and edge delivery)
- Autumn and Stripe (billing and payments)
- fal.ai (image processing)
- Google (OAuth sign-in, if you choose it)
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
Account and billing records are kept as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements. Images in staging storage are deleted after processing (or within a short safety window). Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations.
Your choices
- You can sign out and stop using the service at any time.
- Manage billing and cancel your subscription through the in-app billing portal or by contacting support.

Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated APIs, and server-side-only secrets for sensitive operations. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and keep credentials private.
Children
Beamup is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
